Responsibilities:

  • Support marketing executives in organizing various projects.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports/ questionnaires.
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Translate materials between English and Chinese.
  • Manage social media campaigns and monitor all user-generated content
  • Press release creation and distribution.
  • Assist in organizing promotional events, and traditional or digital campaigns.
  • Assist in identifying marketing strategic areas for tourism.
  • Assist in following new tourism trend and taking necessary actions.
  • Internship position will be involved in supporting all aspects of company administrative and marketing activities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Possess critical and analytical thinking skills and be able to learn and respond quickly to the fast growing/changing Chinese tourist market.
  • Must be familiar with Chinese social media channels such as Weibo, WeChat, or are willing to learn quickly.
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese.
  • Team players but be able to work independently and deliver high quality work against deadlines.
  • Professional and courteous communication skills to maintain client relations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent project management skills; assignment execution & problem-solving.
  • Experience with tourism industry desired.
  • Background in public relations desired.

 

Please Note:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree of Marketing, Tourism, Journalism, or Art History required.
  • Chinese Marketing Associate is a full-time position. The Intern is required to work no less than 3 or 4 days per week.
