Responsibilities:
- Support marketing executives in organizing various projects.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports/ questionnaires.
- Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
- Translate materials between English and Chinese.
- Manage social media campaigns and monitor all user-generated content
- Press release creation and distribution.
- Assist in organizing promotional events, and traditional or digital campaigns.
- Assist in identifying marketing strategic areas for tourism.
- Assist in following new tourism trend and taking necessary actions.
- Internship position will be involved in supporting all aspects of company administrative and marketing activities.
Qualifications:
- Possess critical and analytical thinking skills and be able to learn and respond quickly to the fast growing/changing Chinese tourist market.
- Must be familiar with Chinese social media channels such as Weibo, WeChat, or are willing to learn quickly.
- Fluent in both English and Chinese.
- Team players but be able to work independently and deliver high quality work against deadlines.
- Professional and courteous communication skills to maintain client relations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent project management skills; assignment execution & problem-solving.
- Experience with tourism industry desired.
- Background in public relations desired.
Please Note:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree of Marketing, Tourism, Journalism, or Art History required.
- Chinese Marketing Associate is a full-time position. The Intern is required to work no less than 3 or 4 days per week.
